Tuesday Night Bantam Action

Patrick is expected to be a high pick in the Bantam Draft

A light night in bantam hockey on Tuesday night saw the Winnipeg Hawks defeat the Winnipeg Warriors 10-1.  This game marked the return of top 10 ranked forward Nolan Patrick from a long term injury which saw him just appear in one game this season.  Patrick didn't disappoint, scoring on his first shift and having a 4 goal, 2 assist night in the win....A pair of games in the PCAHA saw the Semiahmoo Ravens defeat the Langley Eagles 5-3.  Both teams were at the Medicine Hat Hockey Hounds Tournament with Semiahmoo being up and down and Langley really stuggling.  The Eagles were up 3-0 after the 2nd period but allowed 5 straight goals in the 3rd period as the captain Ty Westgard picked up 3 goals and 2 assists.  One of the top forwards on Langley - Jesse Lansdell remains out day to day with the famous "upper body injury"......Abbotsford skated past Burnaby Minor 5-0 last night.  Ben Brar scored twice in the victory for the Hawks.  They will now host the Dallas Saunders Memorial Tournament this weekend, opening up against the Nanaimo Clippers tomorrow morning......In the AMBHL, Edmonton CAC upset Edmonton MLAC 4-1.  Smallish, high scoring '99 born forward Trey Fix-Wolansky paced the attack with 2 goals in the win.  Captain Nolan Volcan had the lone goal for MLAC.....
