Rankings
The November 14, 2012 newsletter is now ready. In this edition of the newsletter, we update the Top 200 for 98's, Top 130 for 99's. As well, stats have been updated for all players in the 98 and 99 age group with the exception of some PCAHA teams. Updated heights and weights are updated as well for most teams in western Canada and the US. The Top 40 western American players are updated. There has been some change up near the top of the lists and new players have been added due to some strong play this season.
Interviews
First we interview a player from Alberta who has decided to move to one of the prep schools and has been an offensive dynamo early on this year. You can view him at the Medicine Hat Hockey Hounds Tournament coming up this weekend.
Next, I had a chance to speak with a play who has quite easily been one of, if not the hottest player offensively in western Canada. You can view this player at the new NWCAA Rocky Mountain Invitational Tournament coming up.
We speak to a player who is a true leader and a highly touted player for the up coming draft. The player can be viewed at the Calgary NWCAA Rocky Mountain Tournament.
Also interviewed is a Saskatchewan prospect who has caught fire and was an all-star at a recent tournament that took place this weekend in Regina.
Lastly, we interview a player from Vancouver Island who had a terrific Tim Jardine Tournament over the weekend.
Team Rankings
The top 20 team rankings make its Third appearance in the newsletter since all leagues are now under way. The team rankings are formatted in a newer style and is updated once again. We also list who their next games are against.
Medicine Hat Hockey Hounds/ Calgary NWCAA Rocky Mountain Tournament Previews
We have an 8 page section on the two major tournaments which are taking place this coming weekend. We will look at who the top teams, players and rookies will be in each pool and indicate who we feel can move on to the playoff rounds and why in each tournament.
