NSWC 13 Cloverdale 0

Cloverdale blocked the extra point on the second NSWC

Has there EVER been a more dramatic fall than the one we're seeing with Cloverdale this season?

We see the score " Cloverdale will have a rebuilding year", Does it make you feel better when you write these words?

No one benefits from a game like this. But you do.

when will the kelowna tourney be updated with scores and the TBA teams in finals?

Calagary easily defeats Richmond 8-2 in the semi and Kamloops takes it to Kelowna 5-1 in a chippy game.

It will be interesting to see how Kamloops handles the strength and balance of the Calagry squad.

Winnipeg Hawks beat Southwest 6-2, Dudek from the Hawks was stand out with a huge hit

No doubt Calagary was the class of the tournament by a long shot.

An extremely well balanced, disciplined and well coached team.

Not to take anything away from their victory, but it must be acknowledged they were not facing the top level "AAA" teams, but based on what I saw, they sure played like one.

Further competition will certainly indicate how strong they truly are.

The Royals, in the City of Calgary (learn how to spell), are weak and only have three players of interes; Marcoux, Kendall and Montgomery. Other than that... good coaching, they suffer from the "Edge Effect".

fraulin is pretty good on the royals
