Calgary Bantam Tournament - Nov 16-18 Teams


Bantam  AAA  Invitational .. November 16-18, 2012 Northwest  Calgary Athletic Association

Here is a list of confirmed teams for the Calgary NWCAA Tournament which takes place the same weekend as the Hockey Hounds tournament in Medicine Hat.

Teams:
OHA,  Winnipeg Sharks, Winnipeg Monarchs, Kamloops Jardine Blazers, Red Deer White, Red Deer Black, Edmonton MLAC, St. Albert Sabres, Sherwood Park Flyers, Camrose Vikings, Edge Moutaineers, Calgary Flames, Edmonton CAC, Chilliwack Bruins and Lethbridge Golden Hawks.

Tyler, any idea why the organizers picked the exact same weekend of Medicine Hat?

Some good teams in Calgary, although Hat looks stronger - this year. The advantage Calgary has is all the games in one venue (similar to St. Albert) instead of different arenas around the Hat.

I expect all WHL teams will have scouts at both Tournaments, but not sure of the rationale of going the same weekend as MH.
