Really? "Thomspson stellar play" he barley had any work throughout the whole game! Xtreme left their goalie out to dry and the only reason it was 3-2 halfway through the third was because ternes was carrying them on their back! The chances xtreme had we weak and they played their worst game all playoffs. Thompson has been playing incredible lately but give a little consideration to the other goalie sometimes. I do think that the series will be over tonight though.
Who's the better '98 Dman....Clague or Quenneville. I'd say both are phenoms....
Lloyd hit 3 posts early in the second when they were up 2-1. SSAC's powerplay and PK were dominant and the deciding factor. SSAC's goalie was shakey at best, almost allowed a few goals from beyond the red line. I think SSAC takes this series in game 4, but wouldn't be surprised to see it go 5 with Lloyd having home ice for the next 2 games. Haven't seen Quenneville play much this season, but he outplayed Klague all game long IMO, who got burned for the 4th goal late in the game to put it out of reach.
Winnipeg Bantam 2 Hawks win 4 straight in dominating fashion to down the Winnipeg warriors with scores of 7-1, 6-2, 9-0, 10-2. Forwards Nolan Patrick, Conner Barley, Linden McCorrister, Vince loschiavo and Chase Brakel Put on quit the offensive show, while Kubic Stood tall in net playing 2game of the 4, and giving up only 1 goal posting his First shut out of the year. They will meet the Winnipeg Monachs in the finals after the monarchs defeated the winnipeg Sharks 4 games -1 on Sunday night. Finals start Tuesday. Good luck to both teams
I saw Quenneville play last spring for the Alberta Wolverines in Vancouver and Winnipeg. He struggled against the top teams ,did not look like a phenom.
