Hockey Manitoba Names U16 POE Rosters

The Hockey Manitoba POE camp will take place from March 30 - April 1 at the Dakota North -CC North rink in Winnipeg, MB.  Here are the 8 rosters posted below.  Of note, no Dallas Miller on any of the rosters.  Miller was one of our highly ranked players for the entire bantam draft at the start of the season.  He played the Winnipeg Sharks first handful of games and hasn't played anywhere since except for the Native Winter Games in Brandon a while back.  It will be interesting to see what becomes of Dallas and if a team picks him on May 3.

Keane, Lycar and Stallard, going to be a great line. Very dominant

Team White will be very strong with Gardiner and Kowalski on the team. The team to watch!

Team to watch? This really isn't about teams and winning and losing..it's about showing the coaches what you have. And who really knows what the lines are going to be? My 2 cents.....

I'm sure Miller will get drafted, he quit the team not the hockey. He's just standing up for what he believes in. Good on him!

I am sure every WHL organization really wants a guy who has quit every team, winter or summer, that he has ever played on. Good on him. Oh my. And they always look for the guy who is the best at shooting slapshots over the net. They love that kind of touch. The man against boy days are over.

That's right...Miller believes in being above the team....if that's his stance then I guess he stuck to his guns. Doesn't seem like someone I would draft.....

Really? Triple A hky in Manitoba has been so long an old-man board who doesn't care what the kids can do, coaches who are biased and parents who complain till they get their way. So wish things were different. So needs a change.

March 16, 8.41 - at least somebody who knows what this tournament is about , SHOWCASING talent , not a "team to watch". Should be interesting to see how players perform when taken out of their comfort zones , skill and overall ability should rise to the top. Very talented group of players , will be really hard to pick the top 40.
