Manitoba Rural AAA Championships - Day 1

Eastman Selects 10 - Norman Wolves 1
Top 50 rated prospect for the draft Kirklan Lycar had 1-6-7 and Scott Petkau had another 4 goals

Pembina Valley 9 - Yellowhead 0
Colt Conrad fired home his first 4 goals of the tournament.  Tyler Jeanson had a 5 point game, he now has 10 points in 2 games.

Westman 2 - Parkland Rangers 2
Matthew Greening scored for Parkland

Pembina Valley 9 - Central Plains Capitals 0
First round rated prospect Colt Conrad was kept quiet in this game with just 1 assist but the scoring was picked up by Tyler Jeanson and his 5 goals!  Lawson McDonald had 2-2-4, Scott Owen with 4 assists and Wade Allison with 3 helpers.

Brandon Wheat Kings 4 - Eastman Selects 4 
If Pembina Valley isn't the favourite, it would have to be either Brandon or Eastman.  Today, they tied thanks to a 2 goal game from Kelby Picard and Brandon markers from Kaspick, Stallard and Hechler.

Interlake Lightning 3 - Westman Cougars 0
Travis Kilbrei and Brennan Cochrane paced the Lightning 1-1-2.  Hayden Dola recorded the shutout.

Yellowhead Chiefs 5 - Central Plains Capitals 3
Yellowhead open up with a win paced by the play of Clay Bergeson and Logan Clark who both had 1-1-2.  Nathan Wall had 1-1-2 for Central Plains.

Brandon Wheat Kings 12 - Norman Wolves 0
One of the favourites to move on to the Manitoba AAA Bantam final against the awaiting Winnipeg Warriors had the way with Norman this morning.  Several Brandon players had big games with Robert Hechler leading the way with 2-3-5, Jordy Stallard 2-2-4 and Marco Campanella with 2-1-3.
