Goberis paced the TBirds |
The RMD Tier 1 Playoffs got underway yesterday with the Arizona Bobcats, Colorado Thunderbirds, Rocky Mountain Roughriders and the Dallas Stars Elite all taking part. This will give scouts one of their final looks at some of the most elite talent in western U.S.A. and also the most likely talent to be drafted in to the WHL. On our latest Top 65 list of the top prospects in the western U.S.A., we have many players who are from Wisconsin or Minnesota but they are highly unlikely to come to the WHL in most cases.
Day 1
Colorado Thunderbirds 5 - Rocky Mountain Roughriders 0
The favoured Thunderbirds got goals from 5 different players and top ranked goalie Jesse Sepper turned aside all 27 shots for the shutout. Forward Zach Goberis had 1-2-3 to lead the way offensively while Holden Biebel had 1-1-2.

Arizona Bobcats 3 - Dallas Stars Elite 1
Cakebreads 2 goals pace the Bobcats |

Wow do tell more!
You said "we have many players who are from Wisconsin or Minnesota but they are highly unlikely to come to the WHL
Players from Wisconsin are not eligible for the WHL draft. Why would you have them on a WHL draft list?
Did you scout the U16 teams at Districts?
