KIBIHT Tournament

There have been a few teams announced who will be attending the KIBIHT Tournament which runs from April 4-8 in Kamloops, B.C.  Once again, the KIBIHT will run at the same time the Western Canada Bantam Hockey Championships take place in Spruce Grove, Alberta.  As a result, we may not see many of the top teams confirm until they are eliminated from provincials.  Teams like  BWC, Cloverdale and Semiahmoo all feel they have a great shot at advancing from B.C. so they are likely to wait.  As are teams like Lloydminster, SSAC, Sherwood Park, Calgary Royals and a couple others from Alberta.

Here are the confirmed teams attending currently:
Airdrie Xtreme
Burnaby Eagles
Grand Prairie Storm
Kamloops Jardine Blazers
Mission Stars
North Shore Winter Club
OHA
POE
Richmond Blues
Sask Valley Vipers

Grande Prairie is way overmatched.

Hopefully some more of the top teams join once their seasons are over if they don't advance in provincials.

It was heavily scouted last year and is a good finale to the season.

I think OHA has a very good shot at winning if teams such as BWC, Cloverdale and Semiahmoo are still in provincials during the KIBIHT

Why is North Shore in this already they still have a chance to go to the Provincials.

POE just beat OHA 10:1...

FYI KIBIHTS is considered spring hockey, any word of any teams loading up from other associations
like last year?

KIBIHT is not using spring format this year. Teams have to be rostered teams from there association.

i beleive that NSWC should have waited also its pretty much BWC Semiahmoo, Cloverdale and NSWC as i see as the top 4 in BC

The other three teams have been improving as teams,NSWC will be playing Semi twice, Seattle and BWC in the next week. The season could end very shortly and Seafair could move into this spot. One of these will not make it to the Final Four.
It will be a fight with Seafair ,Semi and NSWC.

Grande Prairie beat Airdrie, two close games with Kamloops. Depends what you consider "over matched" ...

With the teams that are there, POE will be the team to beat.
