The Cloverdale Colts continue to be red hot, winning their 16th game in a row en route to the John Reid Memorial Tournament Final. The run in St. Albert was very impressive and included wins against L.A. Selects (7-4), Notre Dame (7-5), St. Albert (5-3), Sherwood Park (5-4), BWC (3-1) and Semiahmoo (5-1).
As has been the case all tournament long, the big line of Soy-Seto-Stukel were simply too much to contain for Semiahmoo. Chris Seto had 1-1-2, Jakob Stukel 2-0-2 and Tyler Soy 2-3-5. Tyler Soy who was ranked 4th overall in our latest rankings for 97 born finished the tournament with 9-11-20 in the tournament. Soy was voted tournament M.V.P. Chris Seto 9-8-17 and Stukel 8-5-13 were far too strong. Gregory Maggio stopped 35/36 shots in the victory. Darien Craighead capped off a strong tournament with 7-9-16. Plotnikoff with 15 points as well as Bradley and Wesley had 11 points a piece.

Congratulations Cloverdale, what a great team and super coaching
I think this team has Westerns in their sights
Pacific Coast Final Four is going to be real entertaining. We could see the finalists from the 2 major tournaments going at it with only 2 going to provincials. Not counting out Abby or Seafair who could get hot at the right time. Congrats to Cloverdale!
Thanks for all the great coverage!
Cloverdale seems to have found a defensive aspect to their game at the right time. Lots of firepower out there this year - I don't see a single shutout in 40+ games
Wornig and Cheema were outstanding all tournament long.
Watched the game and surprisingly the Ravens had no good quality scoring chances, their 1 goal was also kind of shaky. Cloverdale did a good job of keeping Semi to the outside, and Cloverdale had the luck on their side when Semi caught the defence and goalie sleeping and missed wide open nets. Overall Cloverdale's forwards came to play again and the defence directed traffic to the outside
Great job Cloverdale! Good to see another solid championship game! Cloverdale has certainly come on strong! Great improvements in the goaltending as the season has progressed.
