They are going get thumped by the Hawks on Tuesday night

T birds beat Langley and also beat Abbotsford . This team is is rising fast . Where are the doubters now ? Tier one contender.

All you guys do is focus on points. These points are a misrepresentation. "Chiseling" is rampant. Parents in the box...

What a joke! This is a rag of a publication taking the money of players and parents. Hope you feel good.

Publish these comments and I'll pay you 10 bucks...

Winnipeg Hawks beat Winnipeg Monarchs 3-2 ~ best game of the weekend to be watching

You can't fake goals and GAA. All others are suspect and worse, have seen parents request changes to assists after games once scoresheets have been finalized.

to 9:14 PM - hope you send WEHP your $10 'donation'; live up to your challenge! BTW, yes chiseling is perhaps rampant but the best rise to the top regardless; scouts are smarter than simply ranking players purely on points.

How did the T birds do in Lethbridge? Still haven't heard.

So true.
You can see it on every team any game day.
"Little Johnny" has 2 goals and 2 assists. Wow!
Funny how he was only on the ice when 2 goals were scored.
Do some people not know we see this.
Also coaches often promote 1 kid and pad their stats shamelessly. They must think we are blind.

T Birds on fire. Backing up their smack this weekend.

they also do that with gaa on goalies, making statements on megers performance against sv as solid...he saw 17 shots, sv goalie saw 37?

Yes, Langley has been the biggest under-achiever this season ... relative to expectations that they set for themselves.
Perhaps someone in-the-know can shed some light. Is Coaching the problem? Are they just not very good? What???

SSAC 3-0 AGAINST THE POTENT LINE OF JEVNE,VOLCAN AND REDMAN ALLOWING ONLY 21 SHOTS IN THE GAME INCLUDING( ACCORDING TO THE AMBHL WEBSITE 10 MINUTES SHORTHANDED IN THE 2ND PERIOD) SSAC MUST HAVE A VERY CAPABLE DEFENCE IN ADDITION TO THE BENSON BOY.

You will be judged on How you do against 2 teams and two teams only.

Beat them and you can say whatever you want. However lose to them and You will be with the rest of the teams. I would throw Semi in this but they just lost to Coquitlam 4-1.

PA vs Estevan - Kolten Ganson had a fantastic game with his hattie and an assist. Not mentioned, was that PA outshot Estevan 45 to 24. Carter Phair stood on his head in net for Estevan. Also having a stong game were Braden Pachal, Kyle Sargent and Peyton Stevenson.

Anonymous said...

The shots on net are not accurate. This is coming from a parent of the losing team and know there is NO way the shots were accurate. If there is such emphasis on this to evaluate goalies than a NON parent has to be working the box.
Also, unless a team is ranked in top 10 and WIN there is no game summary on how teams worked hard, battled and never gave up or rely on their top scorerer to do all the hard work and rack up points. A team working hard will go further than 1 player carrying the team. I feel bad for the kid who has padded stats cause he will never be able to live up to it in "real world" hockey or life itself.

PA vs Estevan - great game by Pachal, Sargeant and Stevenson as well as Ganson. Carter Phair (G) stopped 43 of 45 shots as PA badly outshot Estevan 45-24.

Langley, Semi and Abby are all over rated by themselves. Top kids are no better than some lower ranked teams.

When Langley coach plays to win and goaltenders are hot they can compete with the best. When they just roll the lines, don't use the PP or penalty kill, and can't lean on their goaltender....well they end up where they are. Not a huge mystery, that is PCAHA minor hockey and why the clubs will always come out on top.

Nice. Accusing the Langley coach of not wanting to win. I am sure he will appreciate it. Couldn't be the players that are playing the game, no.

you right but theres a diff. between wanting to and knowing how to. the group of 98s hes had for 2 yrs are average at best. they lack game sense and appear to have been poorly coached as well. Langley has
a strong 99 group comming up and hopefully they have better coaching

Richmond ranked #7 in BC what a joke, have you seen this team play at the Burnaby tournament. The team is sinking as fast as the Titanic. Their defense is house level at best. Move them back down to tier 2 where they belong. For someone reason they only have one coach behind the bench, that obviously doesn't know what's he's doing and it shows in the way he's dressed in jeans behind the bench. Real professional Richmond Minor.
