Lethbridge Tournament Dec 7-9

The Lethbridge Golden Hawks will also be holding a tournament this weekend.  It will be a smallish  4 team tournament, which will be round robin format.  All teams will be guaranteed 4 games.  The first game begins at 2:00 PM MDT on Friday and the final takes place at 1:00 PM MDT on Sunday.

Teams
Lethbridge Golden Hawks
Calgary Edge Mountaineers
Leduc Allen's Transport
Vancouver Thunderbrids

It should be a fairly competitive mini-tournament with all teams around the same level.  Lethbridge and Leduc are hovering around .500 in the AMBHL.  Calgary Edge can be competitive as should the Vancouver Thunderbirds who are a .500 type team from British Columbia.

There will be a brief write-up at tournaments end.

Long way for T birds to go to finish in top 4.

How come there are not more teams going?

the t birds should do well in this tourney, dont see it any way else if im coming all that way up

Believe it or not they are calling it an eight team tourney as the AA team is hosting theirs (4 temas)as well. Don't really even know why they bother for 4 teams. I think Lethbridge would opt out of their own tourney if they could given all their injuries right now.

Lethbridge has top 4 D out for the tourney. This tournament could be much more competitive I'd the Lethbridge Association made any effort at all in organizing it.

Should be competitive with the teams going all being close to the same level. Would of been nice to see more teams though. Not sure how the t-birds will fit in or if they are up to this level or not. Too bad about Lethbridge and their D.

T birds will be fine look for them to win it all here.

T-Birds won one and lost two in Lethbridge. They beat Leduc by 1 and lost to Lethbridge and Calgary.

How did the T-Birds make out? They beat up on the 'injury depleted' Lethbridge team?

Haven't seen any scores but assume they'll dominate based on comments above.

Edge won in overtime/shootout against Lethbridge for the gold. T-birds didn't make final.
