Was at the Swift Current and Weyburn game and must give full credit to both sides for a hard fought game. Swift has a very hard working team and Weyburn is hard working and was very physical. Swift Current's goalie Zinger is very good. Nagy was very good and Dickie and Fellner laid out several punishing hits for Weyburn. Swift Current's Doerksen was very good. This playoff run will be great for Swift who should be the pride of the league next year. Weyburn's veteran club looks perfectly built for a long playoff. Was a very good game to watch. The work ethic was very high on both teams. Swift has nothing to be ashamed of, but I just don't think they can handle Dickie and Fellner's physical play for a full series. Could go three though.

Watched the first Wpg AAA warrior/Shark semi-final game which saw the return of Nicholas Holben back in net for the Sharks. Sharks played a disiplined game and moved the puck very well. Team Warriors couldn't get much offense going. First game goes to the Sharks.
