Quebec International Pee-wee Tournament
Several teams from western Canada are taking part in perhaps the biggest tournament they will ever be part of in their young careers.  The Quebec International Pee-wee Tournament draws teams from all over the world and in recent years western Canada teams have shown well.  It has been the coming out party for the players like Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Matt Barzal.  Many eyes will be on NSWC star forward Jordy Bellerive this time around.

So with that said, over the next week or so, we'll identify some of the top 99 born players who will perhaps make in impact in the WHL someday.

NSWC Winterhawks 8 - Swiss Eastern Selects 0
NSWC opens up with a convincing 8-0 victory and to no surprise were led by Jordy Bellerive and his 4 goals and also added 1 assist.  Star forward Angus Crookshank had 2-0-2 and Justin Almeida with 2 goals and 2 assists. Brett Stapley and Nolan Kneen had 2 assists.

BWC will play tomorrow morning vs. New England
Yorkton Terriers will play tomorrow morning vs. Drummondville.
