Tuesday Late

Quite evening in bantam hockey on the road to westerns.  Just a pair of games in the SBAAHL.

Balgonie Prairie Storm 2 - Regina Canucks 1
-Jacob Piller and 98 D- Nolan Reid scored for Balgonie
- The Prairie Storm move on to play Michael Eskra and the Regina Oilers in round 2 of the south.

Regina Oilers 4 - Yorkton 0
- The Oilers move on to play top ranked Balgonie in round 2 of the south

The other south semi-final will be a great series as 2nd ranked Weyburn will play 3rd ranked Melville.  It will be the hard checking Weyburn team vs. the offensive minded Melville squad.

Action will resume tomorrow in the Winnipeg AAA league as the Monarchs have a chance to wrap up their series with the Hawks, leading 3-1 in the best of 7 series.  While the Warriors who have fought back to win two straight games will play the Sharks.

The AMBHL will get underway as well as the Airdrie Xtreme travel to SE Calgary to take on the Calgary Bisons in game 1 of a best of 5 series tomorrow.

The PCAHA Final Four will get underway on Friday with NSWC, Semiahmoo, BWC and Cloverdale all getting set to have a fierce battle this coming weekend to determine the PCAHA rep.
