The Colts, I think, will make a BIG run to make it to Provincials.
Colts are the real deal. You got that right 5.40. they dominated in Kamloops and will be back there for Provincials
Willy not be stopped.
Hungry team
Medicine Hat should be interesting, especially the pool with Bisions, BWC, and Lloydminster. The Bisons can't play defence and seem to be reeling, BWC has a lot of hype to live up to with some really good players and Lloyd just beat Edmonton CAC 8-1. Should be a fun tournament to watch.
the Bisons have never been a good tourney team even with the last two years with all those top players Bisons coach is in over his head.
i would not be surprised if Lloyd comes out of that side
Semiamhoo and Notre Dame should be good game, will findout about the Hounds right off the bat.
Monarchs made it to the semi final without their top defense man who was a home with a broken leg
Calgary Bronks will be in the mix...beat Bisons 7-1 and have been within a goal of Royals twice...were leading Colts in Kamloops and lost in 3rd...Captain Whitby is real deal with MVP in Kamploops final with Seto and 3 goals against Bisons. Would be a top scorer if he did not miss the start of the season with a concussion. They will make a run
Bisons top team last 2 years, won league, then finalist for league. Coach didnt even win top coach for South (voted by peers). That is a sign that people know he doesnt coach, just rolls with his top players. Catchin up with him this year, even though his squad is doing well record wise.
Colts came out on top in Kamloops this past weekend played in the final against the Calgary Broncos -game was a hard fought game by both teams - Cloverdale were leading 2 - 0 after first period after getting into early penalty trouble. Then the Broncs came back in the 2nd to tie the game @ 2-2 , the Broncs then took an early lead in the 3rd to lead 3-2 but Cloverdale dug deep and tied the game @ 3-3, Cloverdale then added 2 more to make it 5-3 - Pity that now with Cloverdale having a full team with everyone back from injury, that they will not be in Medicine Hat Tournament this weekend.
Bison might actually struggle a bit with BWC and Lloyd in their pool. I'd like to see how they make out?
Bisons are still good and every team in South AMBHL goes in to every game knowing the Bisons could stomp them...Royals or Bronks don't hold this over anybody in the league...people piling on with a mid season swoon by Bisons...including, unfortunately, unhappy Bison parent...but their swoon is still better than most teams best..all the haters are bitter... November is not as important as early spring...every good team that has chances to win anything of note plays with a short bench in key situations...ALL OF THEM...those of you that don't, you won't and haven't won anything in the playoffs....Kamloops wins St. Albert and Med Hat last year and the bench was very short in important and close games...SSAC won AB provincials and had a very short bench in playoff games and especially provincial finals VS Bisons..if they don't then the coach feels he has no choice with limited talent and just rolls the lines and hopes for the best...pop and cookies after the game is not for AAA Bantam hockey...if you don't like where your son is on any team then get him and you to do the things to make him better or contribute in other ways..whining about what other coaches do is for losers...last year everyone in Calgary who writes on here wrote the Royals coach is no good....all of a sudden he is good because he beat the Bisons once by a goal??..he did that last year once as well.. the jealous out there have a problem with Bison coach getting good players every year...should he cut them?...should they sit on the bench and watch while new kids to the association under-perform and the team loses? Look at the face of parents and players on the losing teams after games...do you want to look like that??? Wake up..this is high end hockey and the kids get treated that way...be a superstar in AA if that is what's best, but do not play AAA and whine about ice time and what other coaches and what your coach is doing...research who your son is playing for before you play with a team or don't...we all make our own bed..tired of all the haters...everyone thinks they have a chance till they get beat by the true good teams..Calgary teams will show decently in the Med Hat tourney..same with Edmonton...both will need bounces to go deep into playoffs..true power this year as last year will be with the big names out of BC
nov.16, at 10-27,,,, well said
Lloyd has some of the best coaching in the ambhl. And maybe even all of western Canada for bantam aaa. With their good system play, Lloyd I think will have a great season!
WOW ARE THESE KIDS IN THE NHL THEY ARE 14 YEAR OLD STILL LEARNING HOW TO PLAY THE GAME AND ALSO HOW TO MATURE AS INDIVIDUALS - THEY ALL GET THIS AT DIFFERENT AGES ESPECIALLY DURING THEIR TEEN YEARS.... EVERYONE DESERVES TO PLAY AND DEVELOPE AND BE TREATED WITH RESPECT AND AS AN INDIVIDUAL- PLAYERS WILL COME INTO THEIR OWN AT DIFFERENT TIMES DURING THEIR ADOLESENCE AND CANNOT BE WRITTEN OFF OR PUT INTO A CATEGORY AT SUCH AN EARLY AGE......
@November 16, 2011 11:21 PM - Why are you on here?
With Seto the Colts should be ranked top 5. Bug tourney win. This team will win Abbitsford tournament and be one of favorite to win Burnaby Minor Christmas Tournament
NSWC will win Medicine Hat!
They have the top goaltending tandem
They have Hawk and Babs up front
Cloverdale have to be favored in Abbotsford but several teams could 'Wenatchee' them including Mission, OHA and... Wenatchee!
