Burnaby Winter Club Win the Western Canada Bantam AAA Championship!

gh8fo.jpg
Congratulations to a very good squad who could have as many as 4 or 5 first round selections on May 3rd bantam draft.  Steady team all year long who were threatened in a very tough PCAHA Flight 1 this year by Cloverdale, NSWC and Semiahmoo.  They will look to the likes of Dante Fabbro to help lead them back to try for a 3-peat next season.

Players of the game in the final were:
BWC:  Matt Barzal
SSAC:  Stuart Skinner

A reminder that the latest newsletter is also now ready to be sent out after a very crazy past couple weeks!

I would like to pass on Congrats to Burnaby Winter Club Bantam A1 team for their Provincial and Western Canadian Championship titles.

We have seen several of this years BWC players from their Hockey 4 / Atom years to now and must admit what a great ride it must have been for you young men to dominate year after year.

Best of luck in the future, and we hope you continue to be successful in whatever avenue you take.

Also, Great job to the coaching staff as well.

we hope next years team will be as skilled and successful, and hope your club can draw in many more players to continue the championship runs

what was the point of this. Does it make you feel better. So far this is the only comment I have seen on BWC about their season.
its very easy to condone them, hate them. But in the end they are good players, and the players have done nothing to you as a parent.
