Early tournament blowouts in Chilliwack

BWC Bruins 8 - Port Coquitlam 1
Nick Holowko scored 2 goals, Matt Barzla got 2 and got singles from 98 born Kyle Uy, Adam Musil, Bruno and Ty Schultz were among the goal scorers.  Ty Ronning got 2 assists....  Next up for BWC will be games tomorrow against Luke Van Schaak and Wenatchee.  Then later in the day against Kamloops.

Cloverdale Colts 9 - Chilliwack 2
Chris Seto paced the attack with 3-1-4 and Jordan Henderson would pick up 1-2-3 to lead the way for the Colts who were without Tyler Soy who has a broken finger.  Jacob Stukel, D-Tyler Fraser, Connor Petry and Conner Folick would add singles.  Next up for the Colts is Nanaimo early on and then a big matchup with POE late in the day.

Semiahmoo Ravens 10 - Seattle Jr. Admirals 1
Cole Plotnikoff scored 3 goals, Matt Bradley and Mitch Newsome each had 2 goals to pace the attack.  They also got singles from Fletcher, Wesley and Craighead.  The line of Plotnikoff, Craighead and Bradley were on fire all game long with Plotnikoff have a 5 point game, Craighead with a 5 point game and Bradley the same.  The Ravens will play OHA and Victoria tomorrow.  They could be looked at as an early favorite.  For Seattle, top prospect D- Daniel Woolfenden was relatively quiet.

POE has 2 bantam teams in tournaments this weekend as one is also listed in Seafairs Ice Breaker. Which team is POEs tier 1 team? The one at Seafair mowed Vernon down 6 - 0.

What did Mike Van Schaak write these article because if your going to mention a player off Wenatchee it would be Moyer who made USA hockey national festival, as for Woolfenden Seattle he looked as solid as ever

We have heard POE AA team lost to Seafair 8-3 in the Seafair Icebreaker Tournament today.

Rumor has it POE ended the game with many players ejected as well as their head coach, POE racked up 98 penalty minutes (poor sportsmanship and very sad representation to the POE program by their players)

It looks like another Seafair dominated game with Toyoda between the pipes, Gawdin, Wilkinson, Gelz, Seidel, Murggi, Hoffman and Fury hitting the scoreboard

1}Seafairs has POE 2nd team.
2}Author of artical is WEHP staff member, not parent or player.
3} Moyer is not rostered player for wenatchee - out with upper body injury.
4} Wolfenden is always solid.

How did Vernon end up doing in Seafair?

Vernon is a big strong fast team, unfortunately by the looks of the score board Seafair came out on top over the Vernon team 8-3

Hey guys, after the Chilliwack tourny who do you think are the top 5 '97 goaltenders so far?

@ Chilliwack the BWC, Winatchee and OHA goalies were difference makers in games that i saw - the good defensive teams like POE make it hard to tell if there G are good
