not sure the Bisons are "undefeated in 22 games", they have won 20 and tied 1 but there is 3 losses mixed in?
The Bisons lost November 11 2010 vs the Royals - 10 games ago
The PCAHA is very interesting. First off, Cloverdale, who was ranked in the top ten WEHP rankings, is ninth in Flight 1 (But i've heard they have had coaching issues and the team is struggling), and has 3 consecutive losses to mission, hollyburn, and NSWC. BWC just hammered Semiahmoo 9-0 and Chilliwack 16-1. 4th-11th place are spereated by six points. The top 3 spots are pretty much locked down. Surrey is battling to stay fourth with some key games upcoming. NSWC and Hollyburn are close to cracking the top four, which would help them come playoff time. The standings and results are very interesting and i have a feeling hte 4 point series will bring some upsets, and the 3 teams going to provs may be a surprise (one of the 3 teams). Can't wait to seem some playoff action in the PCAHA.
I was at the BWC vs Chilliwack game last evening and watched them get embarrassed 16-1. I felt bad for the boys. I wondered why their coaches kept playing 1 guy high the entire game, basically giving BWC a continuous power play and the Chilliwack team no chance to stop the bleeding. Strange tactics if you ask me.
When you say 1 guy high, are you referring to strogside winger high in box 1 defence?
Sorry I was referring to the "seagull play" where you have a high flyer circling the blueline, while the opposition is in your own end, waiting for that stretch-pass to result in the much-needed breakaway goal. Works fine in a close game you are trying to tie, not one where you're down 14-0.
