A powerhouse team from St. Louis featured talent including; Ryan Macinnis who had 9 points in 4 games, Ryan is the son of hall of famer Al Macinnis. Also, they had a young man by the name of Alex Jasiek who was easily the best player their. Also of note was a player by the name of Brendan Lemieux, the son of Claude Lemieux who played with Toronto Red Wings. Lemieux had 7 points in 3 games with 15 pims. Finally this evening, congratulations to Braden Oleksyn who is playing underage in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA league. He just came off his first 2 goal Midget hockey game of his career. By the way, Jordan Thomson who is also playing Midget hockey but in Manitoba with the Southwest Cougars is fitting in very well and not looking a bit out of place.

The Chicago tournament was not won by St Louis. Vaughn Kings beat Detroit Belle Tire 5-4 in the Championship game. Belle Tire had earlier beaten St. Louis 2-1 in a semi-final.
curious to see what you guys think of some of the players from the Winnipeg Sharks that played in the Kamloops tournament this past weekend. From what I seen we (Wpg) seem to play a little more aggressive style then the Western teams. Do you think that was the Sharks downfall in this tournament.
The Sharks were a good team with lots of physical play. Vernon plays a very physical game but takes many penalties. Kelowna is not very physical. Kamloops plays very aggressive and they have solid players
