Pacific Summer Showcase Underway

Several bantam and peewee aged players are taking part in the Pacific Summer Showcase tournament this week in British Columbia.  The bantam side has four teams with several prospects who are on our list such as; Danny Gatenby, Jared Legien, Marcus Mitchell and a few others.  While the peewee side has a few players as well who are looking to stand out.  Here is a link to the scores and the leading scorers if you wish to track a few of the kids playing in the tournament.  http://www.idthockey.com/leagues/stats_hockey.cfm?leagueID=20822&clientID=2571

Was just wondering if there was any planned coverage of the Bantam Sowcase happening in Regina? Not too familiar with the event and was wondering if you had any insight? From what I gather from other posts is that it used to be a pretty big deal in the past but has fizzled into a small handful of decent attendees to a majority of less skilled players...is this correct?

Regina is just another ego builder for most! Means nothing long term! Remember folks, this is a marathon.
