Williams/Jost/Kawaguchi run wild in 10-1 win

The POE program got off to a great start in the NAPHL tournament south of the border this evening with a 10-1 victory over the severely over-matched Western Michigan U14 team.  POE got out to a 8-0 lead after 2 periods of play having out-shot Western Michigan 28-1 after 2 periods and ended up out-shooting them 37-3 overall.  Jordan Kawaguchi had a huge game with 1-4-5, Ethan Williams had 2-3-5 and Tyson Jost with 2-3-5.  Jost of course is a 98 born player who is playing with them on the same line.  Tyler Brown from Washington State scored twice for POE.  There next action is tomorrow afternoon at 2:45 MDT against a much stiffer test in the St. Louis U14 team who won today 4-1 led by a 3 goal performance by John Moeller.

Of note in this tournament is that Ethan Price is playing U16 in age advanced with OMAHA U16.  He was held off the score sheet today in a 6-0 win over Pikes Peak Miners.
