September 12, 2011 newsletter is now ready!

The Septemeber 12, 2011 newsletter is now ready. The season is getting closer and we continue to make minor adjustments to the 97 and 98 born western Canada lists as well as the USA Top 50 lists.

We continue to look at the various leagues across western Canada and this time take a look at the newly formed Saskatchewan Bantam League of SBAAHL North Division. Who are the key players, top rookies and teams to watch this season? We'll let you know.

I had a chance to speak with a Calgary forward who can score but learned to play a defensive side to his game and has become an exceptional leader. We speak with a pair of top 10 ranked USA Top 50 players from Colorado and the L.A. Selects program. I also speak with a Saskatchewan born defenseman who is flying under the radar but for how long? Finally I speak with a '98 born from Vancouver Island who's brother has routes in the WHL, high scoring player won't be hidden for long.

Lastly, we cover some various news and notes from around western Canada as piles of tidbits have been flying in from various scouts, parents, coaches. We'll try to catch up a bit with some tournament information from both north and south of the border in that section.
