Edmonton South 4 - Central Thrashers 3
Central took a 3-1 lead in to the 3rd period but Edmonton South were able to tie it up on a couple early goals in the 3rd period and got the winner from Aaron Irving with just 1:11 remaining in the game. Jakubowski, Patterson and Lapointe also scored for Edmonton South. Zach Patterson had 1-1-2 in the game as did Braden Jakubowski. McGonigal and Debrusk each had a pair of helpers. For Central Thrashers, Bobyk had 1-1-2 and Ty Mappin added one assist. Defenseman Jordan Steenbergan and Matt Fonteyne scored the others. Ferrus turned aside 21/24 for Edmonton while Desrosiers stopped 19-23. Interesting to note that John Quennville doesn't have a point yet.

South Senators 8 - Northeast 2
South Senators got out to a 6-0 lead about the midway point of the 2nd period and cruised to the most lopsided win thus far 8-2. Several players had multiple point games including; Tyler Wong 2-1-3, Blake Penner 1-2-3, Cavin Leth 1-1-2, Carson Pickett 0-2-2. The goal scorers for Northeast were; Tyler Robertson and Tyler Busch. Liam Gregor picked up 2 assists. Mudryk and Martin played in goal for Northeast and stopped 21/29 shots. For South Sens, Conrad stopped 17/19.
