We had no choice but to win this game. The refereeing was horrible and they put the Northstars 2 men short for half the game, and the only time there was 5 on 5 in the game was in the first 15 seconds of the game. Our boys wanted to play a team from Alberta and play hockey, the referees would not allow any flow. Every whistle in the game but about 7 resulted in a penalty. We have now seen the worst officiating in the whole of Saskatchewan and it resides in Swift Current. It is embarassing.
