In Sherwood Park, it was Sam Steel picking up a pair of helpers on goals by Jack Hamly and D - Ryan Krushen in a 2-2 tie vs. St. Albert. Sherwood Park were without 5 regulars still. St. Albert got 1-1-2 from Ryan Cox. He has 20 points in 21 games and is 2nd to Zachary Webb in team scoring who has 21 points. The shots were 37-23 in favor of Sherwood Park as Joshua Dechaine stopped 35/37.....In Vancouver, it was the Thunderbirds winning their 4th game in the past 5 with a 3-1 victory over Burnaby Minor - Burnaby is now 1-10-1. Dionne had 1-1-2 for the Thunderbirds with Hunter and Hayward adding singles. Riddell with the win for the TBirds......In Abbotsford, it was the Hawks downing Fraser Valley rival Langley 3-1. The Eagles continue to play with out a pair of very talented '99 born players in Capstick and Malm. Malm is expected to return right after xmas.....In Saskatoon, it was the Outlaws defeating the Maniacs 3-2 and the Generals over the Stallions 6-4. The win for the Generals move them to 8-5-0 and now sit in 2nd place behind the 9-4-1 Bandits. Cole Young currently leads the GSHL in scoring with 21 points in 15 games. There is a 4-way tie atop the league goal scoring race with '99 born Jake Leschyshyn, Reece Johnson, Cody Illerbrun and Jordan Hudson who all have 10. Ben Abrook leads all dmen with 17 points in 14 games....In Brandon, it was Pembina Valley with a 7-4 win over the Wheat Kings. Ben Dalke and '99 born Logan Christensen continue to carry the brunt of the offence for the Hawks. Pembina Valley is now 8-7-0 while the Wheat Kings are 3-14-0.

Yes, a big win for Surrey and a strong game by the big Forward, Bizutto. I think the 19 saves for Tallarico is much closer to the truth than the first commentor suggests.
ReplyDeleteThe big question is: What the heck is going on with Semi??? They've now lost three in a row ... two against a middling Coquitlam team, plus this shocker to a very weak Surrey team that should really be in Flight 2.
