KIBIHT Tournament Day 2

Once again, we'll be updating the readers on the action from the KIBIHT tournament for those of you who can't take it in.  The first covered game will once again feature Kamloops but that is only because we need to see OHA some more before the season ends.  Then we will have an interesting one between Sask Valley who are coming off an 11-7 loss to Seattle and led by Terrell Draude against POE at 3PM.

OHA 4 - Kamloops 2 FINAL
Clifford and Fiust with his 5th for OHA.  Fiust and Ward finished up the scoring for OHA.  Winters and Chyzowski scored for Kamloops.

Burnaby MHA 2 - Grand Prairie 3 Final
First Period
Grand Prairie has had a much better compete level in this game but Marcus Vela has been hard on the fore-check for Burnaby which resulted directly in 2 goals.  Grand Prairie did come out strong but Alex Kong has been very stead in the net for Burnaby while the Grand Prairie goalie Tyler Boe has not been very steady.  The best player on the ice has been Marcus Vela while Kolton Doram for Grand Prairie was strong along with 98 born D - Ralph Jarrett.

Second Period
Grand Prairie has carried most of the play but both teams have played very hard.  Natural talent is lacking but players such as Vela, Kong and Doram could garner a look come draft day!

Third Period
Both teams played hard but either were consistently after to drive the net to create enough chances to break the game open.

Players of the game.
Grand Prairie - Tyler Boe - stood tall as the game went on.
Burnary - Colton Vela - Big power forward who played well and has all tournament.
