Late Wednesday

The Cloverdale Colts have defeated the BWC Bruins tonight by a score of 5-3.  The loss for BWC was the first of the regular season for BWC who are now 9-1-1.  Cloverdale remains red hot after winning the Burnaby "Christmas" tournament and seem to be rolling at the right time.  Chris Seto, fresh off of winning the top forward of the Burnaby Tournament had 2 goals while Soy, Stukel and Henderson added singles.  Maggio picked up the win between the pipes.

In other action, Zac Whitby had 2-2-4 for the Calgary Bronks as they defeated cross town rival Calgary Bisons 4-1 tonight.  The Bronks win pulls them to within 3 points of the 2nd place Bisons.  Nick Merkley was a scratch tonight for the Bisons as he was watching his older brother at the World Under 17 in Ontario.

  1. Cloverdale got lucky. BWC offense didnt come to play, only got about 15 or less shots on net. Top players for cloverdale came to play and scored.

  3. I agree with 12:56. They are hot and are doing very well but the teams they have played seem like they are just flat footed.

  4. I would say BWC has the best players in the west. Cloverdale probably has the best team in the west, at least in the last 2 weeks they do.
