So it will be the Sask Valley Vipers taking on the North East Wolfpack in an all North final of the Graham Tuer Memorial Bantam tournament in Regina. The Semi finals which were staged late Saturday evening saw the Sask Valley Vipers skate by the Brandon Wheatkings 3-2 in OT and the North East Wolfpack in a huge showdown with Balgonie in which North East came away with a 2-1 victory, holding tournament MVP Jayden Halbgewachs off the scoresheet in the process.
So far in the only meeting this season between Terrell Draude and the Sask Valley Vipers and the North East wolfpack took place in Melfort with North East walking away with a convincing 6-0 victory. Caleb Seaman, the younger brother of budding Brandon Wheatkings WHL star Tyrel Seaman scored 2-1-3 in that game.
