Calgary Royals 3 - Okotoks Oilers 0
The Calgary Royals continue to prove why they'll have one of the best goaltending tandems in all of bantam hockey this season with Morrissey and Sawchenko as they earn a 3-0 shut-out victory.  The Royals who are now 2-0-0 on the season have allowed just 2 goals but have also only scored 7.  Jake Morrissey earned the shut-out on the night but wasn't overly tested.  98 born Sean Montgomery got the Royals on the board with his 2nd goal in 2 games to start the season, Kelton Driedger then scored his 3rd goal in 2 games, followed by a Huber marker off a deflection via a Scalise point shot.  Cameron Anklewich picked up a pair of helpers in the victory.

Calgary Bisons 6 - Calgary Northstar Sabres 3
The Bisons have also won their second straight game to start to the season, doubling up the now 0-1-1 Northstar Sabres 6-3.  Nick Merkley coming off a 2 goal opening game output, added 1-3-4 and Braylon Shmyr with a pair of goals as well.  99 born Kyle Olsen scored his first AMBHL goal and Matt Phillips added his 2nd goal in as many games.

more in the morning, good night folks.
