The Western Elite Hockey Prospects player of the week is Abbotsford Hawks forward Jake Virtanen.
Virtanen participated in the Chilliwack tournament over the weekend, leading his team to a date in the finals with Burnaby Winter Club which they just fell short 7-4.
Virtanen though, was outstanding, picking up 15 goals and 5 assists in just 5 games leading up to the final.
Jake is in his draft year and is expected to be a top 10 selection in the May bantam draft.
