Or is it just assumed? My son plays PCAHA flight 1, he is not ranked and is not likely to be drafted. Some of his friends are, but even though they seem flattered they have no interest in leaving home at 16-17 and neither would their parents let them. If the coaching is the reason then GP should examine this as an issue. Most kids drafted play in their communities and live at home. The parents do not need to take a morgage on the house to pay for hockey. If the talent and drive are inside the player everything will work out.
