  1. What Thiessen/Martin from OHA - not on your list of transfers earlier - big hit for Winnipeg Monarchs

  2. Try Ward / Mallenstein for OHA

  3. Ward at 195
    Mal at 60

    NSWC

  4. Steel/mckenzie. Hannoun/bellerive . Gingras/malm . I was surprised not to see malenstyn/Koch

  5. we are surprised to see Gingrass on this list

ward and mallenstyn from OHA, seriously (fourth and second line player match ups)?

let the coaches do their magic and create the best lines for their teams, I am sure the coaching staff dont want to have parents telling them what a blog says will work best for team.

    Oh My!

  6. Benson/anyone on SSAC roster

  7. White / kryski combo will be unstoppable

  8. White / Krisky duo, one i hear is injured, and the other is a one way player (consistantly injured before tryouts)

    time will tell,

  9. White and Kryski will be stopped. Both of them struggled in spring. White easily hurt and Kryski played on 2nd line.
Not sure why BWC is rated so high. They are not the same team as last year.

  10. Poe will turn some heads. They will have depth at forward

  11. Both of them struggled in spring? They were the 2 top players in spring this year. Both are 1st rounders .both are healthy . Bwc easily best team in west Canada this year. Followed by SWP ,NSWC , POE. I also like Notre dame. Ramsey is the real deal

  12. Nobody is the same as last year.
Even SSAC lost a few. Their is a bigger grab between this years 98 to 99's. Then there was last year with the 97-98's. Balgonie lost almost all the 98's.
The 99 impact will not be as strong as the 98's were last year. Benson,Mcdonald,Clague were all of equal size. The 99's has very few of 5'8 and taller. And for goalies all the strong 98's who played in the Top Tiers were over 5'10. I saw only 1 99 over 5ft 6. Most are 5'3.
Size does matter in the corners.

  13. White

    1-Challenge Cup Tournament
    6 games played
    8 goals
    10 Assist

    total 18 pts.

Played 2 games in Mainland and still got 7 pts.

    And you consider that struggling.

  14. In the Challenge Cup White got 10 of those points in one game against a very weak team that should of been in the B pool. That leaves 8 points in 5 games.

  15. Top 2 players in spring ? Did you actually watch any games ?

    ReplyDelete
  16. I don`t think white will dominate as much as bwc thinks. All the mainland teams know that you have to be physical with him. bwc lacks grit and there are teams really looking forward to playing them. Best of luck BWC!

  17. For POE i'd say it will be Trevor Ayre with Tyson Jost that will do the damage offensively.
White and Kryski at bwc will be very potent!

  18. Well if all the people that are commenting on these top 1 - 2 punches are coaches , we can assume your tryouts are completed, team rosters submitted and waiting for the season to begin.

If you are parents commenting , it makes many of us believe you have bought your son or daughter a position on the team or have special behind the seens deals cooking.

Let the kids play, and then we can see how the coaches create their lines.

Is Langley in the PCAHA area already through the tryout process.

Have any other teams started tryout or inter squad games and close to submitting their final roster?

  19. Most of the tryouts are done or almost done. Surrey and NSWC I believe is all done.

  20. Bwc A2 team will be weak as the drop off after A1 is huge. 10th forward for Bwc will be corazza. Top forward or A2 Will be Horner

    ReplyDelete
  21. Bwc will have 4 99s.

    ReplyDelete
  22. corraazza will struggle to be the 10th forward on this years AAA team, he lacks everything in hockey

if he does make the team he will see as much ice like Uy did last year (couple shifts a game if lucky)

    ReplyDelete
  23. BWC is losing one of those top 99s to another club.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I would expect Aucoin & Dunn to be within the top 5 scoring duo's. They complement eachother very well and will be dynamite on the powerplay.

    ReplyDelete
  25. What about Koch / Malenstyn OHA

    ReplyDelete
  26. Actually BWC did not lose a top 99. They cut him to A2 and Dad pulled him just like he did in Spring. Nice try..

    ReplyDelete
  27. Who is the best big player upfront?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Losing a Top 99. I would love to know who thinks that player is a top 99. According to the Parent, if He did not make the A1 they were leaving. After the camp the parent realized he would not make the A2 team, it was time to leave.

  29. Jost/McDonald will be part of the top line in Western Canada. Jost is better than White.

  30. Jost and McDonald where real good on the weekend
