Okotoks Oilers forward Conner Bleackley will miss up to 8 weeks due to injury. He was taken off on a stretcher in the 3rd period of a game between Okotoks and the Calgary Northstars from a slash to the wrist. Bleackley has a broken wrist and we wish him a fast, speedy and healthy recovery. Bleackley is in his bantam draft season and should go in the top 2 rounds.
That is tough luck for the kid, considering its his draft year. Hope Conner gets back quicker than expected.
ReplyDeleteThis is a player who has done enough to show he is a top two round pick.Get well soon
ReplyDeleteTyler in your experience do you feel that an injury will result in a player drop come draft.
ReplyDeleteAn injury such as a wrist, probably not. If we are talking concussion, abdominal, ACL, MCL etc....Maybe.
ReplyDeleteHe got drafted 21st overall should have been way higher
